Collage Workshop. Still Life to Abstract Collage. Fiona Kennedy

  • Wellesley Recreation Center, Warren Building, Room 216 90 Washington Street Wellesley, Massachusetts, 02481 United States (map)

Join Art Wellesley for a Collage Workshop with Fiona Kennedy.

Making a collage using painted paper can feel like a combination of painting and sculpting on a flat surface.  It can be a great tool and practice for an artist of any level and medium. This course will guide participants through the process of making a painted paper collage.  Demonstrations, student exercises, and exploration of collage artists will deepen your practice. Using still life and objects as the base, we will explore both the representational and abstract ideas, all while completing the steps and tools needed to create your collage.

Class will meet on October 23-24, 1-4 pm on Friday and 10 am-4 pm on Saturday.

All levels welcome. Space is limited.

Fee: $250
